By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If we update this policy, we will post the revised version and update the effective date. Continued use of the Site after any update constitutes acceptance of the new policy.

We may combine information we collect with data from trusted vendors (e.g., donation processors or email service providers).

 

3. Information We Share

  • Campaign Finance Disclosure: As required by Connecticut law, we must disclose the name, address, employer, and occupation of each individual who contributes to the campaign; these records become public

  • Vendors and Service Providers: We may share data with trusted partners who process payments, send emails, or maintain our website. They may be contractually obligated to only use your information only for our campaign purposes.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law (e.g., SEEC investigation or court order).

  • Allied Organizations: Where permitted by law, we may share limited supporter information with aligned Democratic or progressive entities to advance shared goals.

  • With Your Consent: We may share information when you explicitly authorize it or pursuant to this section.

 

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for profit.

 

4. Digital Advertising and Analytics

We use tools like Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand how users engage with our Site and to serve relevant ads. 

 

5. Donations and Payment Security

Donations made through our Site are processed via secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment processors.
 

In accordance with Public Act 24-392, we may accept contributions via mobile payment applications (e.g., Venmo or PayPal), provided that the funds originate from the contributor’s personal account.

 

6. Text Messaging and Email Communications

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications (including automated texts and emails) from Ned for CT. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. You can opt out of emails via the unsubscribe link in each message.

 

7. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly solicit or collect information from children under 13 years old.

 

8. Security

We maintain safe guards consistent with normal operations of a political campaign in the state of Connecticut to protect personal information against loss, theft, misuse, or unauthorized access. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted online.

 

9. Your Choices and Access

You may update your information or request deletion (subject to campaign finance record-keeping laws) by emailing info@nedlamont.com We may retain certain records as required for reporting to the CT State Elections Enforcement Commission.

 

10. Links to Other Sites

Our Site may link to third-party websites (such as donation processors or social media platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies before providing personal information. Our Site may include social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as Facebook, Instagram, or X/Twitter “Share” buttons) that let you share actions you take on our Site. These features may collect information such as your IP address or which page you visit and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly.
 

Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing them. Posts, comments, or other content from third parties displayed on our social media channels do not necessarily reflect the views of Ned for CT.
