- Expanded Paid Family & Medical Leave: Delivered 12 weeks with one of the most generous income replacement rates in the country
- Raised Wages: Increased the minimum wage to $15/hour with automatic increases tied to inflation
- Expanded Paid Sick Days: Extended coverage to workers across Connecticut
- Boosted Tax Relief for Working Families: Strengthened Earned Income Tax Credit to one of the most generous in the nation
- Created Debt-Free Community College: Opened doors to opportunity for every resident
- Lowered Prescription Costs: Capped insulin at $25/month and passed major drug pricing reforms
- Expanded Healthcare Access: Launched Covered Connecticut to help 40,000 residents access free care
- Protected Reproductive Freedom: Made Connecticut a safe haven for abortion access by signing the first law in the country protecting patients coming from another state for an abortion and their medical providers
- Passed the Clean Slate Law: Gave thousands a second chance by automatically clearing low-level records
- Strengthened Gun Safety Laws: Cracked down on ghost guns, banned open carry, and expanded safe storage requirements for gun owners
- Protected LGBTQ+ Rights: Ensured access to gender-affirming care and banned discrimination based on gender identity in health insurance
- Expanded protections for immigrant communities: Strengthened legislation keeping ICE out of our schools, hospitals and courthouses to keep communities safe.
- Signed the Clean Air Act: Committed the state to a 100% zero carbon grid by 2040.
