Governor Lamont Launches New TV Ad Featuring State Rep. Toni Walker, Highlighting Josh Elliott’s Absence on Key Issues

New Haven, CT – Today, Governor Ned Lamont’s campaign launched a new television ad, “Never There,” featuring New Haven State Rep. Toni Walker, discussing Josh Elliott’s record of missing votes on issues that matter most to Connecticut families.

The ad features Rep. Walker making the case directly to voters, stating that, “Legislators have one job–show up and represent the people who sent them to Hartford.” She points to Elliott’s absence on critical issues like ICE enforcement in immigrant communities and school funding, contrasting it with his visibility at photo ops, and argues Connecticut needs a governor who is “battle tested” in Ned Lamont.

The ad, which can be seen HERE, will begin airing today on broadcast, cable and digital.
