GOVERNOR LAMONT ENDORSED BY CT REALTORS®

Realtors Highlighted the Governor’s Support for Housing Production, Homeownership Access, and Property Rights

New Haven, CT – Governor Ned Lamont today announced he has received the endorsement of CT REALTORS®, Connecticut’s largest professional trade association, representing nearly 18,000 real estate professionals across the state.

“Owning a home is one of the most important paths to building a future for your family, and every Connecticut resident deserves that opportunity, no matter their zip code,” said Governor Lamont. “I’ve been proud to collaborate with Connecticut’s Realtors to expand housing production, cut red tape that stands in the way of new development, and protect the rights of property owners across our state. I’m honored to have their support, and I’ll keep fighting to make homeownership more accessible for working families across Connecticut.”

Governor Lamont has built a record of supporting Connecticut’s housing market and real estate industry, including investing in new housing production, streamlining permitting processes to speed up development, and partnering with municipalities to expand housing options in communities across the state. That record reflects a consistent commitment to ensuring Connecticut residents have access to homeownership and that the state’s real estate professionals have a partner in the Governor’s office.

“Throughout his time in office, Governor Lamont and his administration have shown a strong commitment to Connecticut’s real estate industry,” said CT REALTORS® 2026 President Alexa Kebalo. “He continues to advocate for programs and policies that can expand homeownership, affordability and real estate opportunity across communities in Connecticut.”
