Governor Lamont Announces Endorsements from 44 Democratic State Central Committee Members
Grassroots momentum continues to build as local party leaders increasingly rally behind Ned Lamont’s progressive record and focus on affordability.
Hartford, Conn. – Governor Ned Lamont today announced a new round of endorsements from members of the Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC) across Connecticut, with 44 members backing his reelection campaign. The support underscores the continued growth of grassroots momentum behind the governor’s affordability agenda and his vision for keeping the state moving forward.
“Connecticut Democrats are showing what it means to deliver real results, rather than just talking about them,” said Governor Ned Lamont. “We’re cutting taxes, driving down costs, and making affordability real for working families across our state. That progress is driven by strong partnerships with our legislators, local leaders, DTC Chairs, and DSCC members who are on the front lines across Connecticut. Together, we’re building the coalition we need to keep Connecticut moving forward.”
Ned Lamont has made affordability and opportunity the center of his administration, pairing disciplined fiscal management with a focus on delivering real results for working families. That approach includes landmark wins like paid family and medical leave, a higher minimum wage, and major investments in child care and education, recently building on an additional $170+ million for education and $100 million for towns in the latest budget adjustment. Together, these efforts have helped drive one of the fastest-growing economies in the country and strengthened support for Democrats across Connecticut.
