Field Organizers

Governor Ned Lamont’s 2026 re-election campaign is seeking motivated, reliable, and team-oriented Field Organizers to serve as an integral part of the campaign’s statewide field operation. This role is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who works well under pressure, exercises sound judgment on the go, and understands what it means to show up for their team every day.

Field Organizers will work closely with Regional Field Organizers and Field Organizers on their team to implement the campaign’s field plan, execute voter contact programs, and help build the volunteer capacity needed to win through the convention, primary, and general election.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute the campaign’s field plan at the local and regional level.
  • Organize, lead, and participate in voter contact initiatives including canvassing, phone banking, texting, voter registration, and constituency mobilization.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage volunteers for voter contact operations.
  • Assist with early vote, absentee ballot chase, and GOTV operations
  • Ensure data integrity through volunteer training, quality control, and consistent use of VAN while meeting weekly field goals.
  • Plan and execute field events and support on-the-ground visibility efforts.
  • Staff the candidate and campaign surrogates at field-driven events and organizing activities as needed.
  • Coordinate closely with the field and political teams to ensure strong execution and follow-through.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 cycles of campaign organizing or field experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with voters, volunteers, and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, adapt quickly, and take creative approaches to meeting goals.
  • Proficiency with VAN, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work campaign hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly salary of $4,000 - $4,500 commensurate with experience
