Regional Political Organizer (CD 2, 4, 5)

Governor Ned Lamont’s 2026 re-election campaign is seeking motivated, nimble, and detail-oriented Regional Political Organizers to help implement the campaign’s statewide political program at the regional level. This role is ideal for a go-getter who thrives in fast moving environments, can adapt on the fly, and takes pride in executing political work with precision and follow-through.

Regional Political Organizers will work closely with the Deputy Political Director to carry out stakeholder outreach, support coalition engagement, and staff the candidate and surrogates across assigned regions in Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the campaign’s political program at the regional level in coordination with the Deputy Political Director.
  • Serve as the campaign’s primary on-the-ground political presence in assigned regions, ensuring strong coordination and responsiveness.
  • Support and execute stakeholder outreach and constituency engagement efforts.
  • Staff the candidate and campaign surrogates at events, meetings, and political engagements, ensuring smooth execution and strong follow-up.
  • Assist in coordinating political events, stakeholder meetings, and coalition gatherings.
  • Track regional political activity, stakeholder feedback, and emerging opportunities, and report regularly to senior political staff.
  • Work closely with political, field, communications, and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
  • Support convention preparation and general election political operations.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of political campaign, organizing, or advocacy experience preferred.
  • Prior political experience in Connecticut’s 1st, 2nd, 4th, or 5th Congressional Districts strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details, follow through on assignments, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly salary of $4,500 - $5,000 commensurate with experience
  • Mileage reimbursement
