Blog Disclaimer & Rules
The point of a blogroll and comments on the campaign blog is to provide a diverse set of viewpoints and encourage conversation. A link on the blogroll in no way means that Ned, or the campaign, endorse everything that blogger writes on their own website. A political blog is a forum for Democrats, Independents, Republicans to gather and respectfully exchange ideas. And while we make it completely clear that just because information appears in the comments does not constitute an endorsement from Ned Lamont or the campaign, there are a few community guidelines that we ask everyone to follow:1. Treat each other with respect and refrain from cursing. Name calling and foul language doesn’t accomplish anything.
2. Do not post images or material that are obscene or sexually explicit.
3. Please adhere to “fair use” when copying and pasting from other sites. While it is alright to take a paragraph or two and use a quote box in combination with your thoughts -- wholesale copying of articles is a copyright violation unless you have the owner’s permission.
Any of the above will lead to comment deletion and potential banning from the site. If you have any questions about the guidelines, please email info@nedlamont.com
